This is the Arts Center’s premier event of the Fall season in Vermont. This show was juried by artist David Miller, artist and former Professor of Art at Skidmore College. My painting in this show, “Late Fall, Late Day,” depicts a Fall scene of the sun setting over mown fields bordered by a pool, all now part of conservation land in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.
The exhibit location is Southern Vermont Arts Center, Yester House Galleries, West Road, Manchester, Vermont, www.SVAC.org (tel. 802.362.1405).
Art at the Library, a Juried Exhibit, Fall 2013
October 19 – November 16, 2013
Opening reception, Saturday, October 19, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
As the Guest Artist Coordinator for this show, I’m very excited about the works on display and congratulate all the artists who participated. The exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to see progressive and traditional art by professionals and emerging artists, all of whom reside in Lunenburg. The works exhibited are diverse and inspiring, ranging across media – oil, encaustics, colored pencil, and digital art. The show was juried by Mary Iselin, artist and instructor at the Sharon Arts Center, recently named Monadnock Artist of the Year. I hope you have the opportunity to visit this show!
